We set out to create an online casino and sports betting experience that genuinely fits the way Pakistani players think, pay and follow their favourite sports — all in clear, plain English with PKR at the centre.
Who We Are
988wan was conceived with a straightforward observation: Pakistani players were navigating international online casino and sports betting platforms that were not designed with them in mind. Interfaces in foreign languages, currency conversions that obscured real costs, payment methods they had never heard of, and customer support that operated in entirely different time zones — all of it added unnecessary friction to what should be an enjoyable, transparent experience.
We built 988wan to change that. The platform is entirely in English — the language that professional and educated Pakistani users across Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan and Peshawar are most comfortable reading financial and entertainment content in. Account balances, deposit and withdrawal figures, and bonus amounts are all displayed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) so there is never any ambiguity about what a transaction actually costs or pays out.
From the first screen to the cashier page, every design decision at 988wan has been made with the Pakistani user experience in mind — faster page loads on mobile connections, familiar payment-method context in the cashier, cricket and PSL betting markets front and centre, and live dealer tables running across Pakistan Standard Time.
Pakistan is one of cricket's most passionate nations. PSL T20 matches, ICC World Cup tournaments, bilateral series — 988wan puts live cricket betting odds at the top of the sports section where they belong, with real-time market updates throughout every match.
No hidden USD or EUR conversions. Your 988wan account balance shows rupees. Deposit minimums are stated in PKR. Withdrawal amounts are confirmed in PKR. What you see is what you actually get.

What We Stand For
At 988wan, the way we operate is shaped by a set of principles we genuinely believe in — not marketing language. These values guide every product decision, every support interaction and every piece of content published on the platform.
Gambling carries real financial risk. We do not shy away from saying that plainly. Our commitment to transparency means we state bonus conditions clearly, we explain wagering requirements in plain English, and we provide responsible gambling tools that are easy to find and even easier to use. No small print designed to confuse. No fake urgency. No fabricated statistics.
988wan is committed to responsible play. Visit our Responsible Gambling page for deposit limits, loss limits, session timers and self-exclusion options. Gambling is for adults aged 18+ only, or the higher minimum required by the applicable licence jurisdiction.
Bonus terms, withdrawal conditions, KYC requirements and platform limitations are written in clear English with realistic PKR examples. We do not bury restrictions in unreadable legal footnotes — the important stuff is always where you can find it.
Responsible gambling is not an afterthought at 988wan. Deposit limits, session time reminders, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion are built into the account dashboard and accessible with a few taps — not hidden three menus deep.
Industry-standard SSL encryption protects every transaction and login. We collect only the personal data necessary for account operation and identity verification. Your information is never sold to third parties. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
We understand that Pakistan has gambling restrictions under the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977. 988wan does not claim to be authorised, licensed or endorsed by any Pakistani government body, the PTA, State Bank of Pakistan, or any provincial authority. Players are responsible for understanding applicable local law before participating.
Our support team is available 24/7 via live chat and email as per operator-provided information. When a player asks a question they get a direct, honest answer in English — not a copy-pasted script that misses the point entirely.

Our Journey
Building a platform genuinely suited to Pakistani users was not a matter of translating an existing international product. It required rethinking the user experience from the ground up — from the registration flow, to the payment method information presented in the cashier, to the sports markets that appear on the home screen.
Every stage of 988wan's development involved asking the same question: does this work for a player in Karachi checking odds at half-time, or a player in Lahore making their first deposit via a familiar payment method? If the answer was not a confident yes, it got redesigned.
Identifying the specific pain-points Pakistani players experienced on international platforms — language barriers, currency confusion, unfamiliar payment methods and irrelevant sports markets.
Designing every page, label and notification in professional English suited for Pakistani readers — the interface language that matters most for clarity and trust in financial transactions.
Building the account and cashier system around Pakistani Rupees at every touchpoint — balances, bonus figures, deposit amounts and withdrawal confirmations all in PKR with no conversion ambiguity.
PSL T20, ICC World Cup, Pakistan national team fixtures and international cricket markets brought front and centre alongside football, UFC and esports for a complete sports betting section.
Deposit limits, loss controls, session timers and self-exclusion built directly into account settings — easy to find, easy to activate, never buried behind multiple menus.
Pakistan has gambling restrictions under the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977. 988wan does not represent itself as licensed, approved, regulated or endorsed by the Government of Pakistan, any provincial authority, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the State Bank of Pakistan, or any Pakistani financial institution. Payment method names such as Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank and Bank Alfalah are contextual references only — they do not imply endorsement of, affiliation with, or support for gambling operations.
This page is not legal advice. Players are responsible for understanding the gambling laws applicable to them in their location before registering or depositing. 988wan operates under applicable international licensing — no licence numbers have been fabricated in this document.
